Catch Them Young · Digital Skills

Explore Technology. Create With It.

The Digital Skills Stream introduces K-12 learners to the world of technology. Your students don't simply learn about technology. They get opportunities to explore it, experiment with it, solve problems and create with it.

An Interactive Digital Learning Platform Powered by RoboGarden

RoboGarden presents coding through game-based learning experiences that progress from beginner toward more advanced levels.

The Digital Skills Stream uses the RoboGarden Playground as its core technology-enabled learning environment. Students learn through the digital environment and then use facilitated sessions and projects to reinforce and apply what they are discovering.

Hands-On Learning

Beyond the Screen: Digital Skills Are Developed by Doing.

Catch Them Young extends digital learning beyond completing online activities. Students can participate in:

Technology Exploration

Experience emerging technologies through demonstrations, activities and facilitated discussion.

Coding Challenges

Use developing skills to solve age-appropriate problems.

Innovation Activities

Explore how technology could address a problem at school or in the community.

Digital Projects

Create something that demonstrates learning.

Team Challenges

Work collaboratively to solve technology-related problems.

Show & Tell

Explain what was created, how it works and what was learned.

Our emphasis is moving from

“How many lessons did you complete?”

to “What can you now do with what you learned?”
